Na noite do Grammy Paul não compareceu, pois era convidado a entregar o prêmio de Melhor Música Original no BAFTA, British Academy of Film and Television Awards 2011, o qual chegou na companhia da Mary, sua filha e da noiva Nancy Shevell).
Ao entregar o prêmio fez piada, citandoos filmes dos Beatles disse:
"Algumas das melhores músicas já escritas vem do cinema ... A Hard Day's Night .. Yellow Submarine ".
On Grammy's night Paul did not attend because he was invited to present the award for Best Original Music at the BAFTA, British Academy of Film and Television Awards 2011.(which came in the company of Mary, his daughter and fiancee Nancy Shevell).
Handing over the award joked, quoting movies Beatles said:
"Some of the best music ever written comes from the movies… A Hard Day’s Night.. Yellow Submarine".
