"Foi uma grande surpresa para mim que veio no final da véspera do Dia dos Namorados depois que tinha acabado o pós-show do BAFTA (British Academy of Films and Televison Arts). Eu recebi um texto dizendo: 'Você ganhou o Grammy. Foi brilhante. Mesmo não podendo estar lá este ano foi muito emocionante receber a notícia tarde da noite - nós todos fomos à loucura "Paul McCartney ao ganhar o Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance Grammy (Facebook). 

"It was a big surprise to me that came at the end of Valentine's Day eve after we'd just got away from the BAFTA's aftershow party. I got a text saying 'You won the Grammy'. It was brilliant. Even though I couldn't be there this year it was extremely exciting to get the news late at night - we all went wild!" Paul McCartney on winning the Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance Grammy (Facebook).







Helter skelter a canção de 42 de composição de Sir Paul, mas de crédito da dupla Lennon/ McCartney levou ontem em Los Angeles o grammy de  Melhor Performance Vocal Solo de Rock (Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance), como era esperado por nós fãs. E não parou por aí a noite do dia 13 de Fevereiro para os Beatlemaníacos, os Beatles ganharam o Melhor Album histórico (Best Historical Album), algo bem merecido pela contribuição que os Fab Four deram ao mundo do Rock & Roll.
