Fotos inéditas dos Beatles vão à Leilão/Beatles’ unseen pics to go under the hammer

Londres: Fotografias invisíveis dos Beatles irão à venda depois de ficar em um álbum de família por quase meio século.
As 20 em preto-e-branco dão um raro vislumbre-behind-the-scenes da banda, que fez seu primeiro filme, "A Hard Day's Night", em março de 1964 no Teatro Scala, em Londres.
Eles mostram a banda com seus instrumentos, mas também entre as tomadas em off, com uma foto de Ringo Starr em cima de tijolos para aumentar a sua altura para as câmeras.
Tirar fotos no set fechado foi proibido, mas o gerente do Pinewood Studios Peter Allchorne não teve problemas em clicar os Fab Four.
As fotos foram, então, colocadas em seu álbum de família, onde eles ficaram até agora.
A Preston de 87 anos, Lancashire está colocando as fotos à venda em leilões da Omega em Stockport, Cheshire em 19 de Maio.
Allchorne filha de Jacqueline Griffin disse que seu pai foi em grande parte inconsciente do barulho crescente em torno do Beatles e pensou neles como apenas mais uma banda que ele conheceu através de seu trabalho.
"Não era incomum para ele estar no set e tirar fotos. Ele queria tirar fotos de um da equipe, um companheiro de Alfie, e eles estavam lá, foi quando os Beatles estavam no palco ", a BBC citou seus dizeres.
"Ele tinha que conhecê-los muito bem, mas ele não se interessava por isso. Acho que eles só queria divertir-se. Ele não era particularmente tiete, eram apenas quatro rapazes em uma banda, ele realmente não se abalou.
"Ele nunca deu qualquer valor a elas, porque ele não estava nos Beatles, ele estava apenas trabalhando nos filmes. Ele não tinha qualquer apego sentimental. Elas são apenas imagens do meu pai. Ele não gostava da música, ele era em jazzista", disse ela.
Um menu - assinado por quatro Beatles - da viagem da banda a bordo do Cunard BOAC, voô entre Londres e Nova Iorque, também irá a leilão.
Fotos de Allchorne dos Beatles em sua viagem de Bahamas foram perdidas para sempre, porque sua câmera foi roubada da praia.
As fotos restantes tiradas em Londres, juntamente com os negativos originais, foram estimadas em 2.000 libras. O lote inteiro tem uma estimativa de 10.000 libras.
London: Unseen photographs of the Beatles are to go up for sale after lying in a family album for almost half a century.
The 20 black-and-white images give a rare-behind-the-scenes glimpse of the band as they made their first movie, ‘A Hard Day’s Night’, in March 1964 at the Scala Theatre in London.
They show the band with their instruments but also between takes in off-guarded moments, with one picture of Ringo Starr resting on bricks to boost his height for the cameras.
Taking pictures on the closed set was banned, but Pinewood Studios props manager Peter Allchorne had no problems clicking the fabulous four.
The photos were then put in his family album where they have stayed until now.
The 87-year-old from Preston, Lancashire is putting his pictures up for sale at Omega Auctions in Stockport, Cheshire on 19 May.
Allchorne’s daughter Jacqueline Griffin said her father was largely unaware of the growing fuss surrounding the Beatles and thought of them as just another band he had got to know through his work.
“It was not unusual for him to be on set and taking pictures. He wanted to take pictures of one of the crew, a mate Alfie, and they were there, it was when the Beatles were on stage,” the BBC quoted her as saying.
“He got to know them quite well but he was just not that interested. I think they just larked about and had a good time. He was not particularly star-struck, they were just four lads in a band, it didn’t really hit him.
“He’s never held any value on them because he was not into the Beatles, he was just working on the films. He doesn’t have any sentimental attachment. They’re just dad’s pictures. He didn’t like the music, he was into jazz,” she said.
A menu card - signed by the four Beatles - from the band’s trip aboard the BOAC Cunard, London to New York flight, will also go under the hammer at the sale.
Allchorne’s photos of the Beatles on their Bahamas trip have been lost forever because his camera was stolen from the beach.
The remaining photos taken in London, along with the original negatives, have been given an estimate of 2,000 pounds. The entire lot has an estimate of 10,000 pounds.

Terceiro Show e Meio/ Third and half Show
Será preciso mais algum tempo para recuperar minha saúde, após assistir pela terceira vez e meia (depois explico), o fenômeno Paul McCartney. Ele, ao contrário, aos 69 anos, tem uma saúde invejável. Foram três horas de um Show eletrizante em Recife, como é característico do nosso querido Sir.
Beatlemaníaca desde cedo, precisamente aos 8 anos, ao herdar o disco Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, o meu preferido dos preferidos. Acredito que um verdadeiro Beatlemaníaco, aprecia a obra como um todo e crê piamente nos Fab Four como uma unidade indestrutível. Portanto, são quarenta anos de uma doença incurável, graças a D'us.
Sofro e sei que muitos compartilham a minha mágoa, a irônia de alguns dos meus familiares mais próximos e amigos, que sabendo do meu vício e me criticam. Mas apesar de tudo, o meu amor pela música de qualidade compensa a zombaria.
Existe também sempre uma certa agonia prévia, até saber se será possível pagar pelos preços exorbitantes dos shows no Brasil (sou professora), o que exige sempre um certo esforço, como vender algumas coisas ou uma pitada de sorte.
Maracanã em 90, dois ingressos ganhos de uma rádio. Morumbi em 2010, aonde mal pude ver o palco (processei a Planmusic por isso), ganhei de uma amiga. Show do Ringo Starr no ano passado, ganhei do meu maridão. E agora para o meu terceiro Show de Paul, muitas manobras foram feitas pra pagar hotel, passagem etc.
Poderia dizer que tudo eram flores, mas não foi bem assim.
Cheguei ao estádio do Santa cruz umas oito da manhã, após dormir apenas 2 horas. Um sol escaldante esperava as já centenas de pessoas na fila da pista Premium. A sede, a fome (levamos apenas snacks), o calor, a ansiedade, tudo isso seria compensado posteriormente, pelo ex-Beatle.
Mas, o que dizer da educação. Eu como professora (já falei acima) sempre fico estarrecida, diante da falta de cidadania, respeito e ética. Ensino meus alunos a respeitar a fila, a não passar à frente do amigo. Uma pergunta fica: aonde alguns adultos perderam este ensinamento? E não adianta vir dizer-me, depois, que o Brasil é corrupto. Esses atos apenas confirmam o jeitinho Brasileiro de levar vantagem. Egoísmo puro.
Bem, deixemos estes crápulas de lado e voltemos aos fatos.
Após atrasos na abertura do estádio, desorganização, meu sonho de ficar mais perto do Sir Paul estava sendo realizado. Estava na terceira fila. Cara a cara com um ícone insubstituível da música mundial. Quanta honra!
Encurtando a história e cortando as bobagens, passei mal no começo do Show, fui parar na enfermaria e meu pobre corpo não conseguiu suportar as três horas de alegria. Saí no meio do Show, pedindo mil desculpas, internamente, à Paulie.
Havia também, ganho um ingresso no concurso da Revolution, olhe a sorte de novo ao meu lado, mas a insolação e o pânico da multidão me impediram de utilizá-lo.
Era eu sozinha em um quarto de hotel em Recife, longe da minha família. Liguei então para uma pessoa, Claudia Tapety, que prontamente abriu-me as portas de sua casa e me ofereceu um ingresso do Camarote Sky (eu sou iluminada).
Estava radiante...veria o meu terceiro Show e meio!!!!!
PS- Gostaria tornar público o meu agradecimento a Claudia Tapety, pelo excelente trabalho de organização das homenagens a Paul McCarteney em Recife e pelo carinho a mim dedicado.

It will take more time to recover my health, after watching the third time and half (I will explain later), the phenomenon Paul McCartney. He, however, at age 69, has an enviable health. There were three hours of an electrifying show in Recife, as is characteristic of our dear Sir.
Beatlemaniac from my early dais, at precisely eight years old, when he inherited an EP Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, my favorite of favorites. I believe that a real Beatlemaniac, appreciates the work as a whole and believes firmly in the Fab Four as an unbreakable unity. Therefore, it's forty years of an incurable disease, thank Gd.
I suffer, and I know many share my grief, the mock of some of my family and closest friends who knew of my addiction and criticize me. But in despite of everything, my love for the music of quality, compensates for mockery.
There is also always some agony prior of knowing whether you could pay the exorbitant prices for the shows in Brazil (I am a teacher), which always requires a certain effort to sell some stuffs or a pinch of luck.
Maracanã in 90, I won two tickets from a radio. Morumbi in 2010, where I could barely see the stage (the Planmusic was sued for that), I gained from a friend. Ringo Starr's Show last year, I won from my hubby. And now for my third show of Paul, many moves were made to pay for a hotel, tickets, flight etc.
I could say that was always a bed of roses, but it was not so.
I arrived at the Estadio of Santa Cruz about eight in the morning, after sleeping only two hours. A sun burn, was waiting for the already hundreds of people lined the runway Premium. Thirst, hunger (we had just snacks), heat, anxiety, all this would be healed by the former Beatle.
But what about education. I am a teacher (I mentioned above) I am always startled at the lack of citizenship, respect and ethics. Teaching my students to respect the lines. One question remains: where some adults have lost this teaching? And no one can tell me, then, that Brazil is corrupt. Such acts only confirm the Brazilian knack of taking advantage. Pure egoism.
Well, let these bastards down and get back to facts.
After delays in opening the stadium, disorganization, my dream of getting close to Sir Paul was being held. I was in the third row. Face to face with an irreplaceable icon of the world's music. What an honor!
Cut the nonsense, got sick at the beginning of the show, I ended up in the ward and my poor body could not stand three hours of joy. I left in the middle of the show, asking a thousand excuses, internally, to Paulie.
I also gains an entry in a contest of the Revolution9 site, luck always on my side, but the sunburn and the panic of the crowd prevented me from using it.
I was alone in a hotel room in Recife, away from my family. I called a person, ClaudiaTapety, who promptly opened me the doors of her house and offered me a ticket from the Sky Cabin (I'm lit).
I was overjoyed ... would be my third and a half show!!
PS-I would like to make public my thanks to Claudia Tapety, for her great work in the organization the tributes to Paul McCartney in Recife and for the attention devoted to me.

DESAFIO DE ARAQUE / FAKE CHALLANGE
O prêmio seria 24 ingressos para os Shows em Recife (16) e Florianópolis (8), com direito a passagem de som (Hot Sound) e ainda o prazer de ficar perto de Paul McCartney, em uma visita ao camarim antes do Show.
Decepções à parte, um fato ficou patente no acima citado. As regras que foram estipuladas pela própria emissora, não foram cumpridas. Reinaldo de Almeida, Paul McCartney da Banda Zoom Beatles, declarou: "Lamentável mesmo... E mais um monte de coisas não foram respeitadas, acima de tudo a nossa inteligência e o bom senso".
Os fãs ficaram indignados e não é por menos (eles se especializaram nas regras para concorrer).
Entre muitas das regras (tenho certeza que alguns dos que foram premiados nem as leram e também não foram explicadas ao juri eleito para escolher os ganhadores), duas se destacam pelo desuso:
(ii) O Participante deverá enviar um vídeo captado por celular, câmera fotográfica ou qualquer outra mídia similar, feito pelo Participante, que mostre ele cantando uma canção gravadas pelos Beatles. O vídeo deverá ser enviado para, "Link", do Concurso Cultural disponibilizado no site http://www.g1.com.br/fantastico;
FORAM UTILIZADAS MÚSICAS DOS WINGS E DA LINDA MCCARTNEY, DUBLAGEM E MUITOS DO PARTICIPANTES NEM APARECERAM NO VÍDEO (ALICATES,TESOURAS ETC)
2.2. Two thousand and five hundred Brazilian's fans sent their videos to the Fantastico Contest entitled "Challenge Paul McCartney," expecting to see their videos on air on Sunday.
The prize was 24 Hot Sound's ticket to the Shows in Recife (16) and Florianópolis (8), and the pleasure to stay close to Paul McCartney, on a visit to the dressing room before the show.
Disappointments aside, one fact became clear in the above. The rules were laid down by the station itself, were not obey by the judges.Reinaldo de Almeida Paul McCartney of Beatles Zoom Band said: "Regrettable...many things were not respected, most of all our intelligence and common sense."
Fans were outraged and no wonder (they specialized in the rules to compete).
Among the many rules (We sure some of those that were awarded nor read and were not explained to the jury too).
Stays, the pain of Brazilian fans of recognizing that some fans deserved a ticket, but the most part not.
This is Brazil!

AMO A AMÉRICA DO SUL’, DIZ PAUL A CAMINHO DO BRASIL/LOVE SOUTH AMERICA ', SAYS PAUL ON THE WAY TO BRAZIL
Uruguai, Paraguai, Colômbia e, finalmente, Brasil. Prestes a desembarcar no continente para os shows da turnê On the Run, Paul McCartney declarou todo seu carinho pelo público local. “Eu amo a América do Sul. Os fãs são muito musicais e fervorosos. O entusiasmo extravasa e queremos muito esse retorno para fazer os shows e nos divertir” comemora o ex-beatle.
Há 50 anos de cidade em cidade, Macca ainda se impressiona com a admiração das gerações mais jovens, que sequer tinham nascido no tempo áureo dos Beatles. “Percebo que os mais novinhos estão ali, diante do palco, cantando todas as músicas e se emocionando”, disse McCartney em entrevista à Revista Época.
Como se tivesse a idade dos fãs, Paul vai se submeter a uma maratona de shows no continente. Do meio para o final de abril, Macca vai se apresentar nas três capitais dos nossos vizinhos até chegar para os shows em dois lugares inéditos no território brasileiro. Dia 21 e 22 no Recife, e dia 25 em Florianópolis.
Mas todo o corre-corre, no final, acaba valendo a pena. “Quando me apresento na Europa, o público costuma se manter apático até mais ou menos a metade do show, como se não sentisse nada”, concluiu.

Impressionante coleção de álbuns autografados dos Beatles em exposição na Noruega/Stunning collection of Beatles autographed albums on exhibit in Norway
Uma exposição incrível de um colecionador de discos de vinil de todo o mundo com as assinaturas dos quatro Beatles, além de uma guitarra autografada, agora está em exibição na Noruega.
"Get Back - Signed The Beatles", que vai até 31 de maio, apresenta uma incrível coleção de autógrafos autênticos dos Beatles coletados em ambos capas de LP de vinil britânico e americano. A coleção abrange todos os álbuns lançados pelos Beatles, começando com música de seus dias em Hamburgo até que eles se separaram em 1970, juntamente com vários álbuns solo dos Beatles. Cada um dos álbuns dos Beatles como um grupo tem as assinaturas de todos os quatro.
A exposição também inclui alguns álbuns raros, incluindo bootlegs. Uma guitarra acústica de 1964, com as quatro assinaturas dos Fabs também está em exibição na exposição.
Os itens vêm da coleção do colecionador Einar Arne Iversen, um funcionário da Statoil desde 1986. Iversen possui uma coleção de 8.000 discos - não todos dos Beatles - das quais 250 são assinados.

An incredible exhibit of a record collector's stash of vinyl albums from around the world with signatures of the four Beatles, plus an autographed guitar, is now on display in Norway.
"Get Back – Signed The Beatles,", which runs through May 31, features an amazing collection of authentic Beatles autographs collected on both British and American vinyl LP covers. The collection covers all the albums released by the Beatles beginning with music from their days in Hamburg until they broke up in 1970, along with several solo Beatles albums. Each of the albums by the Beatles as a group has the signatures of all four Beatles.See a selection of many of the autographed albums, plus images from the opening of the exhibit, in the slideshow at left.The exhibition also includes a few rare albums, including bootlegs. Tem umas economias de $ 4,5 milhões? A casa em Hollywood Los Angeles 'Hills que inspirou George Harrison a escrever "Blue Jay Way", que mais tarde acabou no "Magical Mystery Tour" do álbum e filme, está à venda, de acordo com Zillow.com.

Duas raras fotografias vintages de John Lennon e Yoko Ono posando nús surgiram para a venda.
As imagens foram utilizadas pelo casal em 1968 'no álbum Unfinished Music No 1: Two Virgins', e foram tiradas por eles em um temporizador. As fotos são mais largas do que as utilizadas na capa do LP e mostram mais confusão ao redor dos pés do casal.
Eles foram colocadas à venda por um proprietário que os encontrou no sótão na casa de sua falecida mãe. Ele ficou chocado com a descoberta e não tem idéia de como ela adquiriu.
O LP mostrou a par nu, frente e no verso.Tanto a original de frente quanto a de costas vão a leilão pelos leiloeiros Duke em Dorchester, Dorset, e lhes foi dada uma estimativa de pré-venda de £700.

Two rare vintage photographs of John Lennon and Yoko Ono posing naked have emerged for sale.
The images were used on the couple's 1968 album 'Unfinished Music No 1: Two Virgins', and were taken by them on a self-timer. The photos are wider than the one used on the LP cover and show more clutter around the couple's feet.
They have been put up for sale by a private owner who found them in the loft at the home of his late mother. He was stunned by the discovery and has no idea how she acquired them. The LP showed the pair nude on the front and the reverse had them naked from behind. Both original front and back images are going under the hammer at Duke's auctioneers in Dorchester, Dorset, and they have been given a pre-sale estimate of £700.
It was a controversial album cover and many record shops refused to stock it. Where it was sold it was handed over in a brown paper bag.The album was the result of an all-night session of musical experimentation in Lennon's home studio.The photographs were taken at Ringo Starr's basement apartment at Montagu Square, London, where Lennon and Ono stayed later that year.
Matthew Denney, from Duke's, said: 'No-one knows how the photographs emerged in Dorset.'The vendor found them in his mother's attic after she died and he has no idea how she came by them.'These are wider shots than the ones produced on the album cover and Beatles experts we have spoken to are very interested in them.
'These are vintage photographs and there are already been quite a bit of interest in them.'During the uproar about the album cover, Lennon said that is was not to do with the nudity itself, but because the pair looked so unattractive.
Indeed, he later described it as a picture of 'two slightly overweight ex-junkies'. The auction is on Thursday.

A revista TIME está planejando uma edição especial comemorativa do aniversário de 70 anos de Paul McCartney.
A revista tem animadamente elogiado a próxima edição, que será publicada em 05 de junho e estará disponível em capa dura, como "um tour pelos bastidores dos muitos capítulos da vida de McCartney."

TIME magazine is planning a special issue commemorating the 70th birthday of Paul McCartney.
The magazine has buoyantly touted the upcoming issue, which is to be published June 5 and available in hardcover, as "a backstage tour of the many chapters of McCartney's life."
According to the official description, the book will recall "the precocious son of a Liverpool trumpet player, the 'cute Beatle' of the Fab Four years, the prolific songwriting partner of John Lennon, the psychedelic seeker, the devoted husband of Linda Eastman, the reborn frontman of the band Wings, the shrewd businessman with a net worth of hundreds of millions, and the social activist with concerns ranging from animal rights to land mines."
Though a cover with McCartney holding his iconic Hofner bass is being used for advance display, TIME is asking fans what their favorite McCartney cover is in a poll on Facebook. There are eight covers to choose from. Four of the pictures appear to be from his Beatles days, while the other four look to be from his solo career. There's no deadline on the page to indicate when voting will end.

Jane Asher (nascida em 5 de abril de 1946, Londres) é uma atriz Inglesa, que é bem conhecida no Reino Unido por suas inúmeras aparições no cinema e dramas de televisão. Ela também desenvolveu uma segunda carreira como decoradora proprietária de uma loja bolo.
Em 1963, Jane Asher entrevistou os Beatles. Um fotógrafo de Times da BBC Rádio pediu para eles posarem com Asher. Asher posteriormente iniciou um relacionamento de cinco anos com Paul McCartney, ficou noiva em 1967.
Ela inspirou muitas das canções de McCartney, como "All My Loving", "And I Love Her", "I'm Looking Through You", "You Won't See Me", "We Can Work It Out", "Here, There and Everywhere", and "For No One" (tudo creditado como Lennon / McCartney).

In 1963, Jane Asher interviewed The Beatles. A photographer for the BBC's Radio Times asked them to pose with Asher. Asher subsequently commenced a five-year relationship with Paul McCartney, getting engaged in 1967.
She inspired many of McCartney's songs, such as "All My Loving," "And I Love Her," "I'm Looking Through You", "You Won't See Me", "We Can Work It Out", "Here, There and Everywhere", and "For No One" (all credited as Lennon/McCartney).

McCartney stayed in the Asher family home at 57 Wimpole Street from 1964-66 and wrote several Beatles songs there. He wrote in a room usually used for music lessons. The Asher house was also a place of intellectual stimulation for McCartney. He enjoyed the rarefied atmosphere of upper-middle class conversation and company that the house afforded, and to which he aspired.
According to Cynthia Lennon, McCartney was "as proud as a peacock" to have Jane as a girlfriend, and saw her as "a great prize." Marianne Faithfull remembered McCartney and Asher "never getting on very well," and described one evening at Cavendish Avenue when McCartney wanted a window to be open and Asher wanted it shut. McCartney would repeatedly get up and open the window and then Asher would get up and close it, although neither of them made any comment about it during the whole evening.
McCartney did not stop having one-night stands with other women during his time with Asher, because he felt that since they were not married, it was allowed. On December 25th, 1967 McCartney and Asher announced their engagement, and she accompanied McCartney to India in February and March 1968.
Jane Asher broke off the engagement in early 1968, after coming back from Bristol to find Paul in bed with another woman, Francie Schwartz. They attempted to mend the relationship, but finally ended it on July 20, 1968 when Asher told the BBC.
Asher has consistently refused to publicly discuss McCartney or her time with him, and has maintained her position on the matter to this day. On this basis, she is described by the Beatles' 1968 biographer Hunter Davies as the only major Beatles associate not to have published her recollections.
What a shame for all us Beatles fans, but hats off to Jane for having the class to not cash in on her relationship with Paul.
